Back by popular demand! Join us for a 90-minute, narrated cruise around Boston Harbor aboard the M/V Columbia Point. Enjoy incredible views of the Harbor Islands, Revolutionary era forts, and Downtown Boston. Narration, fun facts, and occasional jokes are provided by UMass Boston's Division of Marine Operations.

Ticketing

Tickets can be purchased in advance on our web store or are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the dock 30 minutes before boarding. Purchasing in advance is highly recommended due to the popularity of cruises. There is a cap of 6 reservations per group.

Students with a valid UMass Boston ID: free

Faculty/Staff: $10.00

Community/Guests: $15.00

All individuals boarding the vessel are required to have a valid ticket. This includes children and lap infants. While children under the age of 2 may attend free of charge, they must still have a ticket issued for their trip. Please email marineops@umb.edu to reserve a child's ticket.

• If a cruise reaches full capacity, any infant or child without a ticket will not be permitted to board, and exceptions cannot be made due to USCG safety regulations.

Each staff member and student is limited to purchasing one ticket for personal use only.

• Guest tickets must be purchased separately.

Departments organizing group attendance must purchase tickets in advance using a bank card.

• Journal entries are no longer accepted. Group bookings are limited to six (6) individuals or fewer.

All ticket sales are final. No refunds will be issued for no-shows. Weather cancellations still apply.

Boarding:

Cruises depart from the Fox Point dock, located adjacent to University Drive between Wheatley and McCormack Halls.

We recommend allowing sufficient time for parking and walking to the Fox Point Dock prior to your scheduled departure at 12 noon.

Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to departure (11:45 am) to check in and board the vessel. All cruises leave at 12 noon and cannot be held for late arrivals.
