Cultural Collaborative (CC)
Cultural Collaborative (CC): The Cultural Collaborative comprises of the six student-led Cultural Centers. As the Cultural Centers are under Student Multicultural Affairs, they come together to program and create cross-cultural programs and initiatives.
The UMass Boston Student Veterans' Center helps support the student veteran population at UMass Boston. The Veterans Center is a resource center which provides a wide range of information on veteran issues to both veterans and veteran supporters at UMass Boston.
The Women's Center sponsors events and programs throughout the year of special interest to women of color, women with disabilities, women veterans, queer women, and the many women who transcend these spaces and identify with multiple spaces.
Established in 1989, Casa Latina is student organization at UMass Boston dedicated to cultivating an inclusive and vibrant community that not only embraces the richness of Hispanic culture but also harnesses the power of creativity and artistry. Our mission is to provide a welcoming space where individuals from all walks of life can come together to learn, appreciate and celebrate the diverse traditions, languages, art forms and histories that constitute the Hispanic heritage.
The mission of the Black Student Center is to provide a central space for students of African descent and other ethnic groups to develop academically and socially by promoting a positive self-image through facilitating access to their history and culture.
The Asian Student Center promotes unity, Asian heritage and cultural diversity, hosts social events throughout the year, is a place for students to relax and make new friends, and welcomes all students.
The charge of the Queer Student Center (also known as the QSC, or "The Q") is to facilitate the educational and social development of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning and queer (LGBTQQ) population at UMass Boston.
