Camp Shriver's 501(c)3 Language and some Boilerplate
Camp Shriver is a program of the Center for Social Development and Education (CSDE), a research institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston. The University of Massachusetts Boston is one of five UMass campuses served by the University of Massachusetts Foundation, Inc., a private not-for-profit corporation having a 501(c)(3) identification number: 04-6013152. The UMass Foundation acts fiscal sponsor, receives the grant and oversees the disbursal of funds for Camp Shriver.
Camp Shriver is a program of the Center for Social Development and Education (CSDE), a research institute at the University of Massachusetts Boston. For more than 30 years, CSDE’s goal has been to enhance the overall quality of life of children who are at risk for adverse outcomes due to environmental, behavioral, or genetic factors.
A national award-winning model for inclusive recreational programming, Camp Shriver’s mission is to improve the social, emotional, and physical well-being of children of all abilities, by providing an inclusive community of friendship and fun. At Camp Shriver, children with and without disabilities build social skills and positive social relationships by learning and playing together.

Give Direct to the University and Avoid the Givengain Fee
PLEASE NOTE! If you have a large donation, either from an individual or proceeds from an event (or if a donor wants to avoid the fee), you can submit donations directly to Camp Shriver and avoid the platform fee!
Simply:
- Go to umb.edu/givecampshriver
- Make the donation and write “[Your Name] – [Your Marathon, i.e 2027 Boston Marathon]" in the additional comments section
- Email me your receipt. I will add it to your totals as an offline donation.
