![]() Ksenija Borojevic, PhD |
Ksenija Borojevic is an Associate Director for Study Abroad, Exchange Programs, and International Partnerships, responsible for facilitating, promoting, and supporting international engagements, partnerships and collaborations between UMass Boston and peer institutions and organizations internationally. She has spent over 20 years working at a number of universities, both public and private, both in the United States and abroad, and is committed to the internalization of the Campus. She holds a Master’s and PhD in Anthropology, from Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri. Ksenija joined UMass Boston in 2012 as a research associate at the Fiske Archaeological Center in the Anthropology Department, and in 2014 she joined the Office of Global Programs. Ksenija is fluent in several languages, including French, and Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, and has a good command of Italian, Spanish, and German, and had training in Latin and Classical Greek. She was a Fulbright Scholar in 2013. |

Mariana Lopez is a UMass Boston alumna. Her love for traveling and her Anthropology degree has helped her to become a well rounded person by learning, appreciating and capturing the affairs, cultures, and beliefs of other countries while befriending unforgettable people who have made an impact in her life. Working over 13 years in the Office of Global Programs, has increased her experience in international education and student services, which helps her provide the best assistance to the international community at UMass Boston. |

Brittany Dhooge |
Brittany Dhooge is a UMass Boston alumna who was introduced to the Office of Global Programs when she studied abroad through a UMass Boston exchange program at John Cabot University in Rome, Italy for a semester in the fall of 2013. She transferred to UMass Boston from the University of Connecticut, and immediately fell in love with the diversity and community at UMass Boston. Majoring in Political Science and minoring in Human Rights and International Relations, she graduated summa cum laude in May of 2015. During her time at UMass Boston, she volunteered in the Office of Global Programs as a Global Ambassador. After 2 years of working as a part-time study abroad assistant, she joined the Global Programs team as the study abroad coordinator in the summer of 2018. She has a passion for travel and seeks to give as many UMass Boston students the same life-changing opportunity that was awarded to her to study abroad. |
Every semester, the Office of Global Programs staff is supported by work study students in providing services to UMass Boston students. Work study students help with back-office operations and assist incoming students at the reception desk.
