Adaptive Technology Evaluation

The Adaptive Computer Lab (ACL) matches learning styles to the right technology and then reevaluates needs on an ongoing basis.

Training

The ACL offers individual training and group workshops. To view a list of group workshops, visit the IT Training Portal. For individual training, sign up in the ACL.

Exam Accommodations

The ACL works in cooperation with the Ross Center to provide the appropriate technology tools and environment to help students succeed when taking exams. Contact the Ross Center about the use of ACL technology for exams by email ross.center@umb.edu or call 617.287.7430.

Online Accessibility

Online content can be challenging to navigate for students with disabilities. We offer consultation to faculty to make online content accessible to all.

Other Support Services

The ACL offers consultation on methods for effectively using adaptive technology (AT) to teach students with disabilities, disability-related issues, and concerns related to AT use.
