Tutoring, Mentoring & Coaching

SEAS provides academic coaching, subject- and course-based tutoring, and peer mentoring, with the goal of helping students succeed at UMass Boston.

Academic Coaching helps students build effective habits such as time management, organization, study strategies, and test preparation through individualized support tailored to their goals. Tutoring offers academic assistance in foundational courses across disciplines through one-on-one and small group sessions, available both in person and online. Peer Mentors are embedded in first-year courses to build community while providing guidance and connecting students with campus resources.
