• Windows 10 Education Edition - UMass Boston students can now download Microsoft Windows 10 Education Edition free! Get the software by visiting umb.onthehub.com.
• Microsoft Office - As part of our Office 365 agreement with Microsoft, you can now get a copy of Microsoft Office free to use while you are an active student at the university. 
• MATLAB - UMass Boston students now have access to MATLAB + 16 modules for free. 
• Mathematica - UMass Boston has entered into an agreement with Wolfram, makers of Mathematica, to make this product available to all UMass Boston students for free. 
• NVIVO – Our students now have FREE access to NVIVO.  It helps you discover more from your qualitative and mixed methods data. Uncover richer insights and produce clearly articulated, defensible findings backed by rigorous evidence.  Get the software by visiting umb.onthehub.com.
• Computer Discounts - UMass Boston has made arrangements with Dell to offer our students special pricing on a wide array of computers, laptops, and other electronics. 
• Computer Security - As a faculty, staff, or student of UMass Boston, you can now take advantage of free and discount antivirus and other computer security tools. 
• Other commercial products - Students can purchase software for personal use through GovConnection.com. While creating your account, you will be asked to provide a valid UMass email address and a copy of your UMass ID.
