Career Readiness
Are you Career Ready?
The National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) has identified eight key competencies that college students should possess in order to be competitive candidates in the internship and job markets and to be a successful employee in the workplace. Being “career ready” means that you possess all eight of these skills and can demonstrate your proficiency through your resume, cover letters, LinkedIn profile, networking situations, and interviewing.
If you need help assessing your career readiness competencies or how to convey them to employers, please see the documents below or contact the Academic and Career Engagement and Success (ACES) Center to schedule an appointment with an advisor.
