If you are a student at UMass Boston and have a disability, you may be eligible for services and resources available through the Ross Center. The Ross Center invites students to call the office or visit and inquire about eligibility and procedures.
Step one: complete a Student Application (UMass Boston email and password)
Step two: call the Ross Center office at 617.287.7430 to schedule an appointment with a Coordinator.
Step three: bring documentation of the disability to your registration meeting. During that meeting the Coordinator will explain how to request accommodations.
If you have not already done so, please submit a Student Application to create your profile in myRCDS. To access the Student Application, please use your UMass Boston email and password. If you already provided documentation, you do not need to submit it again. Once your profile is created you may login to request accommodations, schedule exams, and submit alternate format requests.
Any new or returning student who would like to request extensions for assignments or accommodations for absences must schedule a meeting with a Coordinator to develop the Student Plan.
